Arsenal have provided further insight into Christos Tzolis following the winger’s arrival from Club Brugge. The club highlighted four stages of his career, from his early development in Greece to his final season in Belgium.
Tzolis was born in Thessaloniki in January 2002 and began his development with Doxa Pentalofou before joining PAOK. He broke into PAOK’s senior side as a teenager, helped them win the 2020/21 Greek Cup and was named the club’s player of the season.

His first spell in English football began when Norwich City signed him in 2021. Tzolis scored twice and assisted two more goals on his debut, a 6-0 Carabao Cup win against Bournemouth, before continuing his development through loans at Twente and Fortuna Düsseldorf.
The Düsseldorf move proved important. He scored 22 goals in 30 league appearances during the 2023/24 campaign and finished as one of the division’s joint-leading scorers.
A permanent transfer to Club Brugge followed in 2024. Arsenal’s official profile says Tzolis scored 33 goals in 74 Belgian Pro League appearances and helped Brugge win the Belgian Cup, Super Cup and league title.
His final season produced his strongest numbers. Tzolis recorded 22 goals and 29 assists in all competitions, including a goal contribution in 14 consecutive games. He finished with 50 goal contributions in 50 matches and won the Belgian Pro League Player of the Season award for a second successive year.
