Arsenal chief commercial officer Juliet Slot is set to leave the club after almost five years at the Emirates Stadium.
Slot joined Arsenal in December 2021 and has played a central role in the club’s significant commercial growth.
The decision comes after Arsenal won the 2025/26 Premier League title, with Slot and the club agreeing this is the right time to part ways.
Her departure continues a summer of behind-the-scenes change. Club doctor Zafar Iqbal, head of sports science and performance Tom Allen and lead performance coach Sam Wilson have also left.
James McNicholas of The Athletic reports that Slot’s work helped Arsenal increase the financial room available for investment in Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Slot leaves Arsenal with record commercial figures
Arsenal recorded commercial revenue of £263.2million in their latest accounts, an increase from £218.3m during the previous financial year.
The club’s official financial results also showed total revenue reaching a record £691million for the year ending May 2025.
Slot was closely involved in Arsenal’s major partnerships with companies including Adidas, Emirates and Sobha Realty.
She also oversaw parts of the club’s marketing, retail and wider brand strategy as Arsenal re-established themselves among English football’s leading commercial operations.
The commercial growth has become increasingly important under spending regulations. Stronger sponsorship and retail income have allowed Arsenal to continue investing heavily without relying only on player sales.
Slot’s exit follows further structural changes across the club.
As Read Arsenal previously examined, sporting director Andrea Berta has also started reshaping the club’s football intelligence and recruitment departments.
Arsenal must now identify a successor capable of maintaining their commercial momentum following a title-winning season.
Slot leaves with the club in a considerably stronger financial position than when she arrived, having helped build the revenue platform behind Arteta’s successful squad.
