Arsenal Set to Complete Signing of Club Brugge Sensation Christos Tzolis

Arsenal are poised to complete the signing of Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis, with the player keen to join Mikel Arteta’s squad and a £30-35 million deal expected to be finalised by the start of pre-season on 20 July.

According to multiple reports from Fabrizio Romano and transfer specialist outlets, Arsenal have made significant progress in negotiations with Club Brugge over the 22-goal winger. The move represents Arteta’s strategic response to Leandro Trossard’s departure to Besiktas, with Tzolis’ breakout form at Brugge catching the attention of Europe’s top clubs. Newcastle United are also competing for his signature, but the Greek winger has signalled his preference to join the Gunners.

World Cup Standout Set for Emirates Move

Tzolis, 24, impressed at the World Cup, becoming one of the tournament’s most talked-about talents after his performances in Qatar. Last season at Club Brugge, he produced devastating form across 52 matches in all competitions, notching 22 goals and 29 assistsa rare combination of output that has led clubs across Europe to circle him as a breakout talent.

The fee is structured to eventually reach £30-35 million depending on add-ons, positioning Tzolis as a statement signing and signalling Arsenal’s ambition in replacing Trossard with an even more productive winger. His arrival would give Martinelli genuine competition on the left flank and add depth to Arsenal’s attacking options ahead of a demanding season.

With pre-season kicking off on Monday, the club expects to have the deal wrapped within days, completing what would be Arsenal’s third summer signing after centre-back Piero Hincapie and midfielder Illan Meslier.
