  • Arsenal should keep Trossard.

Considering Leandro Trossard’s contract expires in June 2027, only time will tell whether he plans to continue his love affair with Arsenal beyond next year.

Interestingly, Gunners sporting Andrea Berta could offload Trossard as Arsenal are eyeing a brand-new winger in the summer.

However, the 31-year-old played an important role for Mikel Arteta as his side won the Premier League title last season, chipping in with six goals and six assists.

The man himself has had a say on his future ahead of Belgium’s upcoming friendly against Tunisia.

Leandro Trossard lifts the lid on his Arsenal future

Trossard arguably had his best season under Arteta and in his nation’s latest press conference, the versatile forward firstly stressed that he remains an Arsenal player.

However, the former Brighton & Hove Albion man mentioned that only time will tell where his future lies in the summer.

Trossard said via the Belgian national team’s official YouTube channel: “I am still a player for Arsenal and we’ll see what happens in the summer.”

Besiktas expected to make serious offer to sign Leandro Trossard

Ajanspor have reported that Besiktas, who tried to prise Trossard away from Arsenal last summer remain interested in the player.

So much so that the Turkish giants are expected to make a serious offer to sign the Premier League winner in the coming days.

Besiktas are keen to sign a top winger in the summer and as a result, they are targeting Trossard.

Arsenal should keep Leandro Trossard

The ex-Genk attacker remains a crucial player for Arsenal and even last season, he displayed a knack of stepping up when the chips were down for the English giants.

Notably, Trossard netted the winner against West Ham United, a goal that may have ultimately deflated Manchester City’s title prospects as they witnessed Arsenal pull a win out of the bag once again.

And that too, with two league games to go.

With Trossard standing up and being counted in the title run-in as well, it would make far more sense for the club to offload Gabriel Martinelli instead, who has been relegated to the status of a mere impact substitute.
