Arsenal are set to play in only their second-ever Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest on Saturday.
As Arsenal face PSG, they have the chance to join Manchester United and Manchester City by becoming the third team in Premier League history to win the title and the Champions League in the same season.
Eberechi Eze’s calmness has helped Arsenal win the league this campaign and as a boyhood Gunners fan, he would be itching to lift the Champions League trophy.
While Eze idolises Thierry Henry, he would not want to endure the same fate as the Frenchman, who lost the Champions League final against Barcelona in 2006 during his time in N5.

However, much like Henry did in Arsenal’s run to the final in 2006, Eze will also have to step up to the plate against PSG.
The Englishman seems to have emerged as a leader at the Emirates Stadium, with Eze telling Mikel Arteta the players needed “space” when they were physically and mentally fatigued earlier this season.
However, being a match-winner, fans will expect the former Crystal Palace attacker to do his talking with his feet against Luis Enrique’s side.

Ahead of his side’s clash against PSG, Eze was asked to name the greatest Arsenal player in Champions League history by TNT Sports and his answer was Thierry Henry.

While it is tough to disagree with the 27-year-old’s reply, he has the chance to surpass the veteran’s legacy in Europe, who Barcelona signed for £16 million (Sky Sports) in the aftermath of the final.
Despite Thierry Henry being one of the best players in the world at Arsenal, he was unable to win the competition while donning red and white but Eze certainly can this week.
If Eze manages to create or score an important goal or just have a game for the ages in a potential victory, Arsenal fans could remember his heroics more fondly than Henry down the line.
