Arsenal got their preseason underway in Australia with a 2-0 win over Sydney FC at the ANZ Stadium.
Per Mertesacker opened the scoring early in the first half and new signing Alexandre Lacazette got the second late on as the Gunners began their preparations for the new season with a win.
