Danny Welbeck has lifted the lid on his experience since making the switch from Manchester United to Arsenal for £16 million. The England international has been at Arsenal for two years now and during that time has made 34 appearances, scoring eight goals.
He provided the crucial goal against former side Manchester United at Old Trafford to help the Gunners on their way to FA Cup success last season. Welbeck was excited by the prospect of moving to the capital and nailing down a regular spot in the Arsenal team.
It was a whole new city, not completely new as I’d been to London before, but it was weird knowing that I was going to be calling London home and not Manchester.

Although by now, Welbeck has adapted to life in London, he admitted that the thing he misses most about life in Manchester is his family.
The thing that you miss most is your family and that’s the most important thing. A lot of my family and friends do come to London to see me anyway. They come to all the home games so I get to see them quite a lot anyway.
But I was leaving something that I knew after growing up in Manchester, coming to a new city, it’s an exciting period.
The England international is currently out injured and is yet to play a single game for Arsenal this season. However, manager Arsene Wenger has put a lot of faith into Welbeck and so the 24-year-old will be looking to cement his place back in the Arsenal side when he returns and dislodge the, so far impressive, Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott.
