Benfica and Valencia are monitoring Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson as the academy graduate considers leaving England this summer.
The 26-year-old has attracted approaches from several overseas clubs after returning to Arsenal for pre-season training.
BBC Sport reports that Nelson has already rejected interest from some Premier League sides. However, he is open to continuing his career abroad, placing Benfica and Valencia among the leading contenders for his signature.
No formal bid or agreement with Arsenal has been reported.

Nelson has entered the final year of his Arsenal contract, giving the club an opportunity to secure a fee before he can leave for nothing next summer.
The winger recently returned to the Sobha Realty Training Centre and remains involved in Mikel Arteta’s pre-season preparations. ReadArsenal covered Nelson’s appearance as Arsenal welcomed seven players back for pre-season training.
However, his route to regular football remains limited. Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Arsenal’s new attacking additions are all ahead of him in the wide positions.
Benfica could offer European football and an opportunity to compete for major domestic honours. Valencia would provide a fresh start in La Liga, where Nelson’s speed and technical ability could suit a more prominent attacking role.
Nelson progressed through Arsenal’s academy and has made more than 100 senior appearances for the club. His late winning goal against Bournemouth in March 2023 remains one of his most memorable contributions.
Arsenal are not expected to block a suitable move. Benfica and Valencia must now decide whether to turn their monitoring into a formal offer.
