Alex Scott Monitored By Arsenal And Manchester United After Bournemouth Breakout

Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott after his breakout season helped push the Cherries into European contention.

The 22-year-old is said to be valued at around £60million, with Bournemouth determined to keep him and potentially offer improved terms as he enters the final two years of his deal.

Scott Link Adds Another Layer To Arsenal’s Midfield Search

The report matters because Arsenal’s transfer planning has already been shaped by interest in versatile attacking and midfield options. Scott would fit a different profile: technically secure, Premier League-tested and still young enough to grow inside Mikel Arteta’s structure.

For Arsenal, the key question is not just whether Scott is attainable, but whether he represents better value than the more expensive names already linked with the club. Bournemouth’s position is strong after a historic season, and there is no suggestion they are actively inviting offers.

According to a fresh update from The Sun, both Arsenal and United are tracking Scott following a campaign in which he made 39 appearances and earned England attention before the World Cup.

That makes this a live market watch rather than a deal close to completion, but it is one Arsenal fans should file under serious midfield scouting as the summer market starts to narrow.
