At a Glance:

  • Arsenal-linked attacker eyes Premier League switch.
  • Valued at just £43.6 million.
  • Mikel Arteta may oppose a potential move.

Arsenal fans will already be rubbing their hands ahead of next season as it seems like Andrea Berta is prepared to make statement signings in the summer transfer window.

One of them is Morgan Rogers, who seems destined to join Arsenal and would represent a big-name addition that sends a message to the Gunners’ rivals that they are ready to dominate English football.

Another name that springs to mind is Bradley Barcola, who Arsenal are interested in signing.

Rafael Leao has offered himself to Arsenal and the attacker, who is valued at just £43.6 million has given a hint on his future plans after confirming his desire to leave AC Milan recently.

Rafael Leao open to Premier League move amid Arsenal links

Leao was speaking to Sport TV when he confirmed his desire to play his football in either the Premier League or La Liga, which is a huge boost for Arsenal if they push for his signature.

“I want a new challenge out of Serie A. I follow the Premier League with great attention. If I have the opportunity to play there or La Liga I would be really happy because my talent would be exulted there. Let’s see what will happen this summer.”

Considering Arsenal are eyeing a new winger, the 26-year-old, whose deal at AC Milan expires in 2028 could prove to be a player who they bring in to further bolster their ranks.

Mikel Arteta may not fancy Rafael Leao move

There is no questioning the Portuguese international’s quality and on his day, he is one of the most devastating wide forwards in world football.

However, Mikel Arteta might oppose the addition of a player like Leao simply because it is highly possible that he does not hit the ground running in an Arsenal shirt.

Having led the Gunners to the Premier League title, Arteta may be demanding a profile of forward who can instantly elevate his side.

Leao may not be that type of signing, taking into account that he has had quite a topsy-turvy career so far.
