Eli Junior Kroupi has emerged as a target for several clubs in the Premier League, including Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea.
Kroupi eyes a big move but only time will tell which club he signs for and whether the £62.5 million-rated forward leaves AFC Bournemouth in the summer.
While the 19-year-old is contracted to Bournemouth until 2030, the Cherries are accustomed to selling key players year in and year out now. Names like Antoine Semenyo, Dean Huijsen, Ilia Zabarnyi, Milos Kerkez and Dominic Solanke are recent examples of their high-profile sales.
Kroupi could suit Arsenal perfectly and the Emirates faithful may have a reason to be excited about a potential move after Marcus Tavernier’s latest admission about his teammate.
Marcus Tavernier says Arsenal target Eli Junior Kroupi could leave Bournemouth
Tavernier was speaking to Sky Sports after Bournemouth beat Crystal Palace 3-0, a game in which Kroupi scored and became the first teenager to register 12 goals in his debut season in the Premier League.

The Englishman admitted that Kroupi and Rayan are elite talents and it is unlikely that they will stay at the Vitality Stadium for too long.
“It’s been unbelievable [to play alongside both of them]. They’re two world-class talents and I don’t think they’ll be at Bournemouth for a long period of time with the quality they’ve both got. But it’s brilliant to have them on the pitch and us as a team, we give the young players the confidence to go out there and play with freedom.”
How Mikel Arteta feels about Eli Junior Kroupi
Tavernier’s claim indicates that Arsenal have every reason to back themselves to sign Kroupi.
It is easier said than done to strike a deal for the Frenchman, considering both Manchester City and Chelsea also like him.
However, Andrea Berta will be keen to bring Kroupi to Arsenal, considering talkSPORT reported that he ‘captured his attention’ after scoring home and away against the North Londoners.
