Chelsea have shortlisted Arsenal target Yan Diomande ahead of the summer transfer window as they intend to bolster their left-wing department.
Arsenal have admired Diomande for a while, who could potentially emerge as a replacement for the exit-linked Gabriel Martinelli.
The RB Leipzig winger is having his breakout season in Europe, amassing 12 goals and seven assists in the Bundesliga this campaign.

Team Talk have reported that Chelsea are interested in signing Arsenal target Anthony Gordon as well, with the Blues hoping to offload Alejandro Garnacho a season after securing his services.
Chelsea eyeing Arsenal target Yan Diomande
Garnacho’s displays since moving to Stamford Bridge are believed to have underwhelmed not only the supporters but insiders at the club as well.
As a result, the report claims that Diomande, valued at £87 million is on Chelsea’s radar alongside Gordon as well as Arsenal-linked attacker Morgan Rogers.
With Newcastle willing to sell Gordon to Bayern Munich if the German giants stump up a £75 million fee for the winger, Liam Rosenior’s side may have to shift their attention towards their other targets.
However, Arsenal will be hoping that their pursuit of Diomande is not scuppered. Considering PSG are showing interest in Martinelli as well, it seems likely that the Gunners will need to sign a left-winger in the summer.
Yan Diomande’s father’s dream club
Diomande’s representatives spoke to Liverpool as the Reds are eyeing him as their dream successor to Mohamed Salah’s throne. Even PSG are believed to have held talks with the Ivorian’s representatives.
However, in February, Arsenal and Chelsea target Diomande clarified that it is his father’s dream to see him play for Liverpool instead of his, contrary to popular belief.
The 19-year-old told BILD, as translated by beIN SPORTS: “People made it out to be my dream club. But first and foremost, it’s my dad’s favourite club.”
“It was always his great wish to see me there someday because he loves the atmosphere at Anfield. He always raved about Steven Gerrard. I was too young to see him play. We didn’t even have a TV at home for a long time. I have a lot of respect for Liverpool, but my dream club right now is Leipzig.”
