At a Glance:
- Arsenal have admired Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s PSG teammate for ages.
- Kvaratskhelia has attracted interest from Arsenal.
- Anthony Gordon is on the Gunners’ shortlist as well.
Paris Saint-Germain winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal as Mikel Arteta’s side seem keen to rejig their attack in the summer.
Despite the Gunners’ interest, Luis Enrique intends to keep Kvaratskhelia, who has been a revelation since heading to the French capital in January last year.
The uncertainty around Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard’s futures means that it would be wise for Arsenal to be scouring the market for a brand-new left-winger.
As a result, Anthony Gordon appeals to Arsenal as well and understandably so as Martinelli and Trossard are yet to set the world alight at the Emirates Stadium this campaign.
Arsenal have liked Bradley Barcola for ages
Bayern Munich are “seriously considering” signing Gordon and have already held talks to make the move a reality.
In a Q&A session for The Athletic, journalist David Ornstein revealed that the North Londoners have been huge admirers of the Newcastle United forward for a while.
Intriguingly, Ornstein added that another wide player who Arsenal have liked for ages is Bradley Barcola, as he claimed: “Every club will have started their work in some way or another.”

“It’s clear that Arsenal want an attacker and referring to your question, Gordon and Barcola have been among the players they (and most other teams at this level) have liked for a while.”
Bradley Barcola and William Saliba’s record together for France
If Arsenal managed to seal Barcola’s signing in the summer, William Saliba would no longer be the only French player in their first-team squad.
The pair have played 13 times in tandem for France and would likely be over the moon about playing together at club level.

| Wins | 8 |
| Draws | 2 |
| Losses | 3 |
In these games, the French duo have won eight, drawn two and lost three games.
If Barcola and Saliba end up becoming teammates at Arsenal, they would be hoping to outdo their record at international level.
