Arsenal are eyeing a summer move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, with the player’s camp understood to be ‘open’ to entertaining offers from potential suitors.
The Georgian has enjoyed an exceptional first full season in Paris, scoring 13 goals and providing nine assists across all competitions. This comes after an impressive opening six months in the French capital last term, when his 12 goal contributions helped Luis Enrique’s side win the Champions League.
While Kvaratskhelia is said to be content at the Parc des Princes, his representatives are willing to consider alternative options. Any deal with Arsenal would, however, be complicated and likely very expensive, although the Gunners are planning to provide themselves with financial wriggle room by sanctioning a major departure.
This is according to Miguel Delaney of the Independent, who suggests that PSG aren’t necessarily open to the idea of selling one of their prized possessions. The 25-year-old netted three goals over two legs against Chelsea in a recent Champions League tie, with this clash evidence of how important he is to Enrique’s project.
Thus, it will take significant negotiations from Arsenal to pull off this ambitious deal, although they are prepared to try and make it happen. One of Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli will likely have to make way, with the North London club supposedly set to reshuffle their squad.
Arsenal are also considering a move for Senny Mayulu, a 19-year-old midfielder from PSG whose contract expires in the summer of 2028.
Should Arsenal go all out to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia?
Arsenal need to make a ceiling-raising signing in their attack this summer. For too long, the Gunners have lacked offensive firepower, and this needs to finally be addressed in the upcoming transfer window.
Julian Alvarez has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates, while the likes of Nico Williams and Bradley Barcola have also been mooted as potential targets for Andrea Berta. These options are certainly exciting, although Kvaratskhelia could be the pick of the bunch.

Exceptionally hard-working in the press, outstanding at creating separation from defenders via dribbling and a goal threat, he has all the tools that make him well suited to thriving in the Premier League.
If Arsenal are able to get their hands on the Georgia international, then they should do it, even at a significant price.
