Jurrien Timber has told Eberechi Eze that if he possessed the former Crystal Palace attacker’s incredible finishing ability, he would take shots in every game.

Eze’s winner against Newcastle United was another example of the midfielder’s world-class ball-striking ability.

The 27-year-old’s shooting is unique in the sense that he can strike the ball with power and precision with both feet.

Considering Eze looked up to Cesc Fabregas, who was also terrific at striking a ball, perhaps he always worked on this side of his game growing up.

Jurrien Timber heaps praise on Eberechi Eze’s shooting

Eze could be Arsenal’s match-winner against Atletico Madrid as his phenomenal shooting ability has won his side games this season; notably when he bagged the winning goal in the Gunners’ 1-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen.

The England international, similar to other Premier League players such as Phil Foden and Morgan Rogers has the ability to routinely find the net from outside the box.

Eze’s hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur this campaign showcased to the world how dangerous he can be from such zones of the pitch.

According to Timber, his teammate needs to shoot as much as possible.

The Dutchman said via Arsenal’s official in-house media: “Bro, this one with your left foot [against Tottenham] is insane.

“I’ve told you so many times, if I could finish like you, I’d shoot every day bro. Every moment.”

Eze replied: “Shoot every time?”

Timber said: “Left, right…”

Eberechi Eze matches Bruno Fernandes in key stat

Timber has a point as Stat Muse revealed that in the past three seasons, Eze has scored as many goals in the Premier League as Bruno Fernandes.

Considering the former has spent two out of the three campaigns at Crystal Palace goes to show his potential as a goalscorer.

Once Eze fully finds his feet in an Arsenal shirt, he could become Mikel Arteta’s go-to man to score goals.

As for now, the midfielder needs to become as consistent a performer as possible and then focus on upping his goal tally.
