While Bernardo’s dream was to join Benfica, his boyhood club in 2023, the treble-winner is yet to decide his future.
Bernardo Silva not ruling out shock Arsenal move
Team Talk have revealed that Arsenal and Chelsea have “sounded” Manchester City out about making a move for Bernardo in the summer. Furthermore, clubs across Europe such as Barcelona have also made “firm enquiries” while Real Madrid are keeping tabs on his future as well.
Clubs in the Saudi Pro League and Major League Soccer have made lucrative offers to sign the six-time Premier League winner but he intends to continue playing at the highest level.
Interesting, the report mentions that Bernardo is not ruling moves out to Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea, despite his storied history as a Manchester City legend.

Juventus leading the race to sign Bernardo Silva
However, it has been claimed that Juventus are the frontrunners to secure the Lisbon-born attacker’s signature. The Serie A giants consider Bernardo a statement signing and are believed to be “pushing hard” to get a deal over the line.
Other Italian clubs also fancy adding the versatile midfielder to their roster such as AC Milan, Inter Milan and Como.
While Benfica and Monaco, Bernardo’s former clubs are also keen on re-signing him.
