Arsenal beat Mansfield Town on Saturday afternoon to secure their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals and keep their pursuit of an unprecedented quadruple alive.
The Gunners edged past the Nottinghamshire outfit in a chaotic affair on a stodgy pitch, courtesy of excellent strikes from Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze. Mikel Arteta’s side sit top of the Premier League, while they’re in the last 16 of the Champions League, the final of the League Cup and now the last eight of the FA Cup.
Having beaten Portsmouth and Wigan Athletic in the previous two rounds of English football’s most historic competition, the North Londoners have been given somewhat fortuitous draws to date. They’ll be hoping this luck continues, with the likes of Port Vale and Southampton into the next round and potential opponents for Arsenal.
With that said, here’s everything you need to know about the FA Cup 2025/25 quarter-final draw.
When is the FA Cup quarter-final draw and how can you watch it live?
The FA Cup quarter-final draw takes place on Monday, March 9th 2026, at approximately 7:05pm (GMT).
It will be broadcast live in the UK on TNT Sports 1 and Discovery+, while it will also be available to watch live on the official FA Cup YouTube channel.
The draw will commence shortly before West Ham vs Brentford takes place at the London Stadium.
What ball number are Arsenal in the FA Cup quarter-final draw?
Arsenal will be ball number five after beating Mansfield Town in the last round. The Gunners will be eager to avoid the likes of Manchester City (ball number three), Liverpool (six) and Chelsea (seven).
Southampton (one) and Port Vale (two) represent the most palatable draws for Arteta’s team, while Leeds (four) and West Ham or Brentford (eight) would see the North Londoners play an all Premier League tie.
When will Arsenal’s FA Cup quarter-final tie take place?
The quarter-final matches are scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, April 4th and Sunday, April 5th. This comes just after the March international break, meaning teams that have not reached this stage of the competition could have up to three weeks off.
This tie also comes days before a potential Champions League quarter-final first leg. Arsenal will therefore have two quarter-final matches in a matter of days, if they beat Bayer Leverkusen in the last 16 of the continental competition.
