Arsenal are reportedly preparing an offer for Juventus defender Merih Demiral, and the news has gone down pretty well with a section of supporters.
The Daily Express claim that Demiral, who is also a target for rivals Manchester United, will be allowed to leave Turin in the new year, which probably explains why the Gunners are stepping up their interest.
Demiral appears to be frustrated by his lack of game time under Maurizio Sarri, and he showed Arsenal scouts just what he can do in the 0-0 draw for Turkey against Iceland on Thursday.
The 21-year-old could be the subject of a €40m bid from Arsenal over the coming months, and when @ZR_1G7 shared the news, these fans were quick to share their excitement.

Unai Emery desperately needs to bolster his central defensive ranks, so a €40m move for Demiral would make sense.
He’s rated extremely highly by Juventus officials, but seemingly not so by former Chelsea boss Sarri.
If Arsenal can lure Demiral to the Emirates over Old Trafford, he could make a major difference and help the club push on in the second half of the campaign.
