Arsenal fans have hailed defensive target Merih Demiral after he produced a crucial moment of brilliance representing Turkey.
The 21-year-old, who plies his trade with Juventus, was reportedly being watched by both Gunners scouts and officials from Manchester United on Thursday.

Demiral helped his country to a 0-0 draw against Iceland, which book Turkey’s place at next year’s European Championships.
However, things could have been a lot different if it wasn’t for the in-demand defender.
He cleared a goal-bound effort off the line with a brilliant header, a moment which would have definitely impressed the Arsenal and United chiefs in attendance.
@WorldwideAFC shared the clip on social media, which allowed these Gunners supporters to hail the youngster.

Demiral has featured just once for Juventus this season and looks destined to leave the Serie A champions in the new year, and a move to the Emirates could make sense for all involved.
Juventus would receive a fee for a player who appears to be out of Maurizio Sarri’s plans, the youngster himself would get regular game time, and Arsenal may find their solution to their central defensive woes.
