One thing that stood out throughout this interview was the mentality of the player.
He has been through quite the ordeal this season already off the pitch but to see him come back from this and promise to stay at the club shows how mentally strong he is.
Arsenal can take a lot of hope from this. Most of the doubts thrown at Ozil throughout his time in London have been to do with his mentality, but he looks ready to fight for his spot.
If he can prove his worth to Unai Emery, we could see a mini renascence of sorts for Ozil and the Gunners will benefit from his creativity in midfield.
