Arsenal are interested in signing Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr this summer, according to his Senegal colleague Papa Waigo.
Sarr has reportedly been on the Gunners’ radar recently, as Unai Emery looks to bring in attacking reinforcements.
In an interview with Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web, Waigo confirmed Arsenal’s interest in the youngster:
[Sarr] was born in my city and started in my soccer school. He has talent and has shown it in France. Arsenal are following him and I’m proud of him.

He is very fast, in one against one he is strong, but he also knows how to score. He is 20 years old, has to grow again but if the big ones want him, it means that he has quality.
Sarr is enjoying a productive season for Rennes, scoring eight times and providing four assists.
The 20-year-old would be an exciting capture by Arsenal, especially with Aaron Ramsey leaving at the end of the season and Mesut Ozil possibly exiting, too.
