Danny Welbeck was left out of England’s training session this morning as a “precautionary measure”, according to reports.
The forward has been well used by Unai Emery recently, playing a full ninety minutes against Qarabag FK in the Europa League before coming off the bench to play half-an-hour in Arsenal’s 5-1 demolition of Fulham on Sunday.
As Gareth Southgate prepares his squad for upcoming Nations League fixtures against Croatia and Spain, Welbeck was excused from the morning’s drills at St George’s Park.

Despite no serious injury being reported, Gunners fans may want to keep an eye on the condition of their versatile forward.
With another congested run of fixtures ahead for Emery’s men, a full bill of health will be necessitated.
League games against Leicester City and Crystal Palace are placed either side of a trip to play Sporting in midweek, and will require all on hands on deck to ensure a positive result.
