Three Stars of the Match: Aston Villa 0-2 Arsenal

A game in which Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger went against his former player and current Aston Villa manager Remi Garde was a little disappointing from an entertainment standpoint, but the job was done by the Gunners who now sit top of the Premier League table after a 2-0 win. A penalty kick was the opener, scored by the red-hot Olivier Giroud, while Mesut Özil found Aaron Ramsey later for the second and final goal of the match. Villa played well from a possession standpoint, but they could not find the final product from the few chances they had. Without further ado, here are the three stars of the match.

matchday.
