City’s latest victory was particularly impressive given they played most of the Manchester derby with 10 men.

Foden was dismissed following an incident involving Bruno Fernandes, but Pep Guardiola’s successors under Enzo Maresca still found a way to win.

Haaland struck after the interval, with the goal eventually confirmed following a VAR check.

It leaves Arsenal with almost no margin for error despite making a perfect start themselves.
