Arsenal bring back fan-favourite colour for new third kit

Arsenal have officially unveiled their new 2026/27 third kit, with a famous colour returning for the first time in five years. The Arsenal third kit sees Mikel Arteta’s Premier League champions return to yellow ahead of another huge season.

The Gunners have not used yellow for a match kit since the 2021/22 campaign.

However, adidas have now brought the colour back for Arsenal’s latest strip. The shirt is combined with navy detailing, shorts and socks.

The launch uses the slogan “Arsenal State of Mind” and focuses on the connection between the club, its players and supporters.

Arsenal third kit brings back popular yellow look

Yellow has been associated with Arsenal since the 1950s.

Indeed, some of the club’s most famous away and alternative shirts have used the colour. Therefore, its return should prove popular with supporters who wanted a more traditional Arsenal look.

Early reaction has already been lively. Some supporters have praised the clean design, while others have compared it to the club’s 2021/22 strip.

The new release comes after Arsenal unveiled their red and white home shirt in May.

Meanwhile, expectations on the pitch remain even higher.

Kai Havertz has already made clear that Arsenal want to build on last season’s league title and compete for every major trophy available.

Arsenal’s third kit is now available through the club and adidas.

Supporters may not have to wait long to see it in action as Arteta’s side continue preparations for the new campaign.
