  • Sancho and Saka’s England record together.

Bukayo Saka is one of the best players to don the prestigious England shirt, given how brilliantly he has performed at international level in various tournaments.

In Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup in particular, the 24-year-old was one of his nation’s best players. Saka is coming off a difficult season for Arsenal but at the 2026 World Cup, Thomas Tuchel will be relying on him to step up to the plate.

During his time at Borussia Dortmund, a prodigious Jadon Sancho seemed like he could be to England what his countryman has been over years.

However, Saka has become an Arsenal legend to many and considering how well he has fared at the international level, Sancho paid him a huge compliment.

Jadon Sancho suggests no England player has ever had a better left foot than Bukayo Saka

Speaking to TNT Sports, Sancho was asked to build his ultimate England player.

The Manchester United loanee picked Harry Kane’s right foot, himself as far as skills are concerned, Steven Gerrard’s passion, Marcus Rashford’s speed, Rio Ferdinand’s leadership and Paul Scholes’ footballing brain.

Ahead of Saka’s much-awaited World Cup campaign for England, Sancho handpicked the Premier League champion’s left foot.

The Three Lions have had a whole host of incredible lefties, including Ashley Cole, John Barnes, Robbie Fowler and Chris Waddle to name a few.
