West Ham vs Arsenal: TV channel, kick-off time & how to watch

Share

Arsenal visit West Ham United on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League, as Mikel Arteta’s side look to move one step closer to securing the Premier League title.

This rollercoaster of a campaign is almost at its end, and the Gunners are now just three wins from breaking their title duck. Overcome the Hammers on Saturday, and it’ll only be already-relegated Burnley and a Crystal Palace team dreaming of European glory standing in their way.

After this, Mikel Arteta’s outfit will travel to Budapest to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final. Thus, the Spaniard and his players are on the precipice of a historic double, and they merely need to maintain their focus for another three weeks.

That said, Manchester City have the chance to pile the pressure back on to Arsenal before the Gunners face West Ham. City play Brentford at the Etihad on Saturday evening, knowing a win will close the gap at the top to just two points.

If Arsenal know that City are breathing down their neck, they’ll be under significantly more psychological pressure when they travel to East London. With West Ham desperately fighting to retain their top-flight status, it’s sure to be a difficult and nerve-racking watch for Gunners supporters.

Arteta confirmed that Jurrien Timber will miss the trip to the London Stadium, while Mikel Merino remains out with a foot injury. As for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, the Portuguese manager’s squad is almost entirely fit, aside from third-choice goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.
