Arsenal booked their place in the 2025/26 Champions League final by beating Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night at the Emirates.
Bukayo Saka’s first-half tap-in was enough for the Gunners to overcome Atletico in the second leg of their semi-final tie, securing the North London club their spot in Europe’s most prestigious club competition for just the second time in their history.
The full-time whistle in N5 was met with a jubilant roar from the home crowd, who celebrated long into the night on the streets of Islington. Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain await in the final later this month in Budapest, when Arsenal will have a chance to make history.
With that said, here’s your Arsenal specific guide to the 2025/25 Champions League final in Budapest.
When and where is the 2025/26 Champions League final?
The Champions League final will take place in Budapest at the Puskas Arena on May 30th, and the game will kick off at 5pm BST.
This iconic stadium has played host to several significant football matches since its opening in 2019. Aside from the annual Hungarian cup finals, it’s held the 2020 UEFA Super Cup, four matches at Euro 2020, the 2023 Europa League final and several Champions League games during the 2020/21 covid-ridden season.
It has a capacity of 67,215 spectators, and will likely continue to be one of UEFA’s go-to venues for major footballing events moving forward, establishing itself as one of the biggest stadiums in Eastern Europe.
The 2026 Champions League final will be at the Puskas Arena (67 000) in Budapest, Hungary on Saturday, May 30. There is a change to the usual kickoff time for this year. How many fans will Arsenal be able to bring to the Puskas Arena?
While Arsenal fans will likely make the trip to Budapest in their drones, only a small portion of fortunate supporters will actually be able to attend the match.
The majority of the seats in the Puskas Arena will be reserved for UEFA sponsors and for corporate clientele. Arsenal have been handed an allocation of 16,824 tickets in the north side of the Stadium, while the opposing team will have an identical allocation in the south side.
How can Arsenal fans get tickets for the Champions League final?
There are eight ticketing categories for the Champions League final, with prices ranging from €950 (£820) to €70 (£60). Certain areas of the stadium have restricted views of the pitch, and these tickets tend to be in the cheaper categories.
Priority will be given to Arsenal supporters who have ardently followed Mikel Arteta’s team this season. Season ticket holders who have travelled home and away to watch every Gunners game this term will be guaranteed a ticket.
All other season ticket holders will be invited to enter a ballot, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. If these season ticket holders have utilised their ticket for at least 16 games out of the 19 this season, then they’ll be eligible for the ballot.
The ballot will open at midday on Friday 8th May and close at midday on Monday 11th May. For more information on ticketing, check out Arsenal.com.
Tickets will be like gold dust for this.

Flights to Budapest from London around the weekend of the Champions League final are unsurprisingly extortionate. Prices start at around £329, according to Google Flights.
That said, there are other inventive ways to get to the Hungarian capital for more affordable prices. The city of Debrecen, situated around 240km away from Budapest, has return flights from London over that weekend for around £226. The cost of a train from Debrecen to Budapest is then priced at around £31.
Meanwhile, cities such as Bratislava, Vienna and Graz also serve as possible destinations for Gunners supporters to trek to.
Alternatively, Trainline has train tickets available for around £200 for the day before the final.
Where can Arsenal fans stay in Budapest?
Unsurprisingly, hotel prices in Budapest on the weekend of the final have spiked enormously. As of Wednesday, the cheapest available three-star hotel room on Booking.com for the Friday and the Saturday night of the final was priced at £1,426.
That said, like the situation with the flights, there are alternatives. Hostelworld shows dorms in hostels for as little as £105 a night, and this includes hostels situated close to the city centre. There are also several affordable airbnbs available for the weekend of the final.
The stadium is situated just to the east of the city centre, and takes just 10-15 minutes to reach via the metro.
