While Mikel Arteta and his players focus on securing silverware this season, Arsenal as a club are already preparing for next term, with a new home kit in the works.
The Gunners currently sit seven points clear at the top of the Premier League, while they have a Champions League round of 16 tie against Bayer Leverkusen to look forward to, as well as a Carabao Cup final and an FA Cup quarter-final to come. An unprecedented quadruple is on the cards, and supporters of the North London outfit are unsurprisingly starting to get excited.
If Arsenal do ultimately miss out on a major trophy, they’ll have another opportunity to secure a significant winners medal next season, and fans have already got a taste of what this may look like, with the 2026/27 home shirt being leaked this week.

Arsenal have built a reputation for having lavish kits and other trendy merchandise in recent years. In partnership with Adidas, the Gunners have been lauded for becoming something of a cultural fashion brand, which has undoubtedly contributed significantly to their improvements in the commercial space.
After producing three generally popular kits for the 2025/26 season, fans have been eagerly awaiting what will come next from Adidas. This anticipation has now been quelled, as the first leaked images of the home shirt emerged on Wednesday morning.
Footy Headlines on X (formerly Twitter), an account synonymous with finding snaps of leaked kits, revealed the proposed 2026/27 Arsenal home shirt. The strip boasts the Gunners’ classic Pillar Box Red across most of the shirt, while the shoulder and sleeve areas are almost all white, with two darker red stripes crossing the shoulders.

Adidas have favoured reducing Arsenal’s badge to just the cannon on many recent shirts, but the leaked 2026/27 kit mirrors this season’s strip by including the entire engrained emblem.
It remains to be seen if this is real or not, although Footy Headlines has a good reputation for sourcing accurate leaked images.
Arsenal fans aren’t sure about 2026/27 leaked home shirt
Like all kits, the leaked images have been met with a mixed response. That said, in recent seasons, Gunners fans have generally been very excited by what Adidas have been able to produce. The same cannot be said of this specific new strip.
Arsenal supporters took to X to voice their opinions on the leaked shirt, without a general consensus emerging. One fan took a positive outlook, writing: “She is a beauty.”

Arsenal supporters will certainly hope that the final fans’ assertion materialises, and that a gold Premier League emblem lights up the new kit next season.
