Arsenal have seen numerous players make moves to the Emirates from fellow English clubs over the last few years.

Names such as Gabriel Jesus, Ben White, Aaron Ramsdale and Oleksandr Zinchenko have all joined the north London club from clubs across the country.

Looking ahead to the next summer transfer window, it seems as though the Gunners have been backed to launch a move to sign another one of England’s top talents.

Speaking to Football Insider, former Arsenal player, Kevin Campbell, has given his verdict on the possibility of seeing the north London outfit making an effort to sign Manchester United attacker, Marcus Rashford.

He said: “He ticks some really good boxes for Arsenal.

“On the counter-attack, he can be devastating. He undone Arsenal at Old Trafford earlier this season with his speed. Rashford can be devastating on his day, we know that.

“Manchester United are dithering by the sounds of it. I’m sure Arsenal would go for him if he became available next summer.

“He is an international player who has played on the big stages. He knows how to get games won. That is what Arsenal lack sometimes. It would be great to have a player of his experience as part of the rotation.”

It was reported earlier this month that the Gunners were keeping an eye on Rashford’s situation at United in terms of what his long-term future looks like at the club.

Having made 330 appearances for the Red Devils across their senior and youth sides, the 24-year-old has scored 103 goals and delivered 61 assists along the way.

With 11 league games under his belt this season, the Englishman has found the net three times and supplied two assists.

He’s also racked up more shots at goal (26) and successful dribbles (13) than any other United player in the league this season, highlighting how much of a dangerous attacking threat he is.
