Many Arsenal fans are keen to seen the Gunners sign Philippe Coutinho in the summer, following a Mirror Sport report that claims Arsenal have made an approach for the Brazilian.
The Barcelona attacking midfielder, currently on a season-long loan with Bayern Munich, isn’t believed to be wanted by either ahead of next season. Having fallen out of favour in Spain, Barca hope Bayern will take up their purchase option, but at £100 million, Bayern have decided against it.
This leaves Coutinho’s future completely up in the air, which has subsequently seen Arsenal, as well as Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United, make respective approaches to sign the former Liverpool attacker.
Each of the Premier League clubs are eyeing a loan deal for the 27-year old, who is said to be desperate to return to the Premier League, having expressed his regret at ever leaving.
Responding to Arsenal’s rumoured interest, a number of Arsenal fans have called on the club to make a move, with Coutinho proving to be a popular target among the Gunners’ fan base.
