Several Arsenal fans have praised Shkodran Mustafi following his turn-around this season, following a video of him training being posted to Twitter.
Mustafi was deemed surplus to requirements at the beginning of the season by former Arsenal boss Unai Emery, with the German making zero Premier League appearances before the Spaniard was sacked in November.
In recent weeks though, new manager Mikel Arteta has brought the 27-year old back into the fold, with Mustafi having started five of the club’s last six Premier League games, going unbeaten in all five.
Mustafi’s Arsenal career turn-around has provided Arteta with food for thought, with the German’s immediate future unclear, whereas previously he had looked like a certainty to leave the Emirates in the summer.
Arsenal’s official Twitter feed shared a video of the Gunners’ defender riding his bike while at home in self isolation on Friday, and a number of fans reacted to it by praising the former Valencia man.
