Arsenal continue to be linked with centre-back options ahead of the summer transfer window, but Samuel Umtiti seemingly isn’t one that has wowed Arsenal fans.
Metro Sport reported earlier this week that Barcelona had offered the Frenchman to the Gunners, with the Spanish giants keen to sell players in order to raise transfer funds ahead of a busy summer window.
The 26-year-old has fallen out of favour with the Catalan outfit this season, and has often been restricted to the substitutes bench, making just nine starts in La Liga.
Now Arsenal have the opportunity to sign the France international, with Mikel Arteta apparently wanting to bring in another centre-back during the summer transfer window.
Taking to social media to react to the Umtiti links however, a number of Arsenal fans have brushed off the speculation, claiming that they don’t want the Gunners to complete a move to sign the former Lyon man.
