Former Arsenal star Santi Cazorla has pleased a number of his former club’s fans after sharing a video of his son wearing an Arsenal shirt on social media.
The Spanish playmaker was a firm fan favourite during his time at the Emirates, where he played between 2012 and 2018, before leaving for Villarreal after his contract with the Gunners expired.
Cazorla’s later years as an Arsenal player were ruined by a serious condition, where gangrene had eaten through his Achilles tendon, and it had been feared at one point that Cazorla either wouldn’t be able to walk again or that he could even lose his leg.
Since then though, the 35-year old has impressed in La Liga for The Yellow Submarine, prompting some Arsenal fans to call for his return to London.
Cazorla posted a video on Instagram (shared on Twitter by AFTV) on Monday that featured his son, wearing an Arsenal jersey, playing keep-ups with a toilet roll, and a number of fans took to social media to express how pleased they were to see his Cazorla’s son retaining his father’s passion for the Gunners.
