Several Arsenal fans have expressed their belief that Rob Holding still has a future at the club, despite seeing him seemingly fall down the pecking order in recent weeks.
The 24-year has barely featured for the Gunners this season, playing just 14 times across all competitions, five of which were for the club’s Under-23s side.
Following a lengthy injury last season, Holding returned to fitness at the beginning of the current campaign, although at that point he had fallen behind Sokratis, David Luiz, Shkodran Mustafi and Calum Chambers in the pecking order.
With William Saliba set to move to the Emirates in the summer, while January loan star Pablo Mari could also make his loan move permanent, and not to mention the recent links to Dayot Upamecano, there has been some debate about where Holding could fit in.
However, a number of Arsenal supporters have defended his spot in Mikel Arteta’s squad, claiming he can have a part to play next season.
