Several Arsenal fans have questioned whether or not their club should consider finding a new replacement for Bernd Leno this summer.
The German goalkeeper has been slammed on numerous occasions this season and that’s led to fan conversations regarding his future at the club.
Mikel Arteta is set to launch a small overhaul of his squad in the summer, with Arsenal set to back the Spaniard in the transfer market, and fans had initially speculated whether the Gunners should consider a new back up goalkeeper.
Arsenal fans had originally debated online about whether Arteta needed to find a new back up goalkeeper for Leno, with fans discussing whether Emiliano Martinez is good enough to play second fiddle.
However, several fans turned the debate on its head, instead calling on the club to explore the possibility of signing a new first choice goalkeeper, a position whose strengthening could aid Arsenal in their aim of getting back into the Champions League.
