Arsenal are on the search for a new central defender this month, and some fans want the club to move for Villarreal’s Pau Torres.
The Gunners have been linked with multiple defenders in recent days, however, Torres doesn’t appear to be on the club’s radar this month, despite recent interest.
Former Arsenal ace Santi Carzola even urged the club to move for his Villarreal teammate a few months ago, with the highly-rated 22-year-old now being tracked by Manchester City, according to the Telegraph, cited by Sports Mole.
And now, with Mikel Arteta keen on adding to his defensive ranks, these Arsenal fans took to social media to stake their claim for a possible Torres transfer.

With Arteta now in charge, Arsenal may consider a different transfer approach, which could increase the chances of an Emirates move for Torres.
Young promising stars brought in over more experienced additions would help build the club in the long run, and there’s no doubting Torres has the ability to become one of the world’s best.
It’ll be interesting to see who Arteta and Arsenal target, and if they get the January window spot on, they could even push for a top-four finish this season.
