Lucas Torreira has been heavily tipped to complete a move to Napoli next month, and it appears as if a deal is close.
The 23-year-old reportedly informed the Serie A outfit last week over his desire to sign for Gennaro Gattuso’s side.

And now, according to Italian outlet Il Mattino, cited by Daily Cannon, both sides are close to agreeing on a permanent fee.
Arsenal are looking to recieve around €35m (£29.8m) for the Uruguayan, while Napoli are willing to offer €30m (£25.6m).
However, the report reveals that various add-ons and bonuses could take the eventual figure up to the Gunners’ asking price.

With both teams talking figures, it looks like a deal is close.
If the South American does head back to Italy, it will come as a major blow to new boss Mikel Arteta.
Torreira became unsettled in north London while Unai Emery was in charge, and even after the Spaniard’s Emirates exit, it looks as if he still wants to pursue a move away from north London.
Granit Xhaka is also thought to be close to completing a move away, so Arteta may need to be active in the January window, or he could always get his boots back on himself!
