Arsenal fans urge club to move for Werner after hearing of Volland interest

Arsenal have recently been linked with a January move for Bayer Leverkusen’s Kevin Volland.

However, it seems as if plenty of supporters want to see a different German arrive in north London.

Timo Werner has been tipped to leave RB Leipzig over the coming months, with Arsenal’s London rivals Chelsea thought to be keen on his services.

The Blues are expected to make a move for the German over the coming months, with Frank Lampard given the green light over a new year spending spree.

And when @ZRAFC shared the Gunners’ interest in Volland on social media, these Arsenal fans were desperate for the club to rival Chelsea in the hunt for Werner.

The futures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are both up in the air, so a move for Werner could be of interest to the Gunners.

His electric pace and natural finishing ability could see him flourish in the Premier League, however, it looks as if they’ll have to battle Chelsea for his services.
