Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a January move for Bayer Leverkusen forward Kevin Volland, but the news hasn’t gone down well with the Gunners faithful.
According to Sky Sports, Arsenal scouts have been keeping a close eye on the 27-year-old, and his name will be put forward to new boss Mikel Arteta as a possible new year arrival.
The Germany international has just 18 months remaining on his Leverkusen contract, so could become available in a cut-price deal.
The news of the club’s interest was shared by @ZRAFC, however, it didn’t sit well with these Arsenal fans.

Volland could prove to be a shrewd signing in a relatively cheap deal, but the Gunners aren’t in desperate need of attacking reinforcements.
Arteta has plenty of experienced and young attacking options available to him, so Volland’s services may not be needed.
If the club can secure a few defensive signings first, then maybe the supporters will be more enthusiastic about a deal for the versatile striker.
