Arsenal’s Lucas Torreira has been heavily linked with a new year move to Napoli.
The 23-year-old midfield ace has been tipped to return to Serie A and reportedly even informed Napoli over his desire to link up with Gennaro Gattuso’s side over the past few days.

Torreira, who only made the move to the Emirates in July 2018, became unsettled in north London under Unai Emery which attracted initial interest from Napoli.
However, a possible move has now taken a fresh twist.
According to Italian outlet Il Mattino, cited by @ZRAFC, Napoli aren’t willing to pay more than £28m for the Uruguayan’s services.
Arsenal aren’t keen on parting ways with the holding midfielder, and you’d think the Italian heavyweights would need to pay more than the £28m suggested.
As expected, plenty of Gunners supporters were quick to react to the news.

Torreira has been one of the club’s best performers over the past 18 months and could be crucial in the Arsenal side in years to come.
Hopefully, the South American will be happy to stay put and kick on with his career in the Premier League.
