West Ham handed double fitness boost ahead of Arsenal meeting
West Ham have been handed a double fitness boost after Manuel Pellegrini revealed both Michail Antonio and Robert Snodgrass should be fit enough to face Arsenal.
Both clubs face a quick turnaround as they prepare to meet on Monday and speaking after West Ham’s defeat to Wolves, the Hammers boss told the media that he expects to have both players available.
It was a risk for Antonio to play this game. He was not able to play but I hope he will be recovered for Monday.
Regarding Snodgrass, who was taken off against Wolves on Wednesday night, he said:
I think he’ll be fine. We will see tomorrow, he had a big kick to his shin but hopefully he will be OK.

West Ham have proven in recent weeks that they can turn it on against some of the Premier League’s big boys.
Michail Antonio in particular was a player who impressed against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge recently.
Playing as a makeshift striker, his movement and constant energy caused the Blues all sorts of problems.
Meanwhile, Snodgrass didn’t have the best of games against Wolves during the week and will be out to prove a point against Arsenal if he starts the game.
