In a managerial blow to Arsenal, it has been revealed that Mikel Arteta is not thinking about leaving Manchester City anytime soon.
According to The Athletic, as cited on the Mirror, the Spaniard remains loyal to Pep Guardiola.
While he still harbours a dream of becoming the number one in the near future, leaving the Premier League champions is not something believed to be on his radar.
Arteta has been among the favourites to replace Emery at Arsenal, but it now looks like the Gunners will have to continue their search elsewhere.

You have to respect Arteta for wanting to stay put at Manchester City for the time being.
They are up against it in the title race this season and if he were to leave now, it would surely see his time at the club end on a sour note.
He has been very loyal to Pep Guardiola, who rates him very highly as a coach.
