Arsenal fans have urged their club not to appoint Gunners hero Patrick Vieira as their next manager.
Reports in France this week have linked Vieira with the role as the Gunners seek a permanent replacement for Unai Emery.
Vieira has been earning a decent reputation for the job he is doing in Ligue 1 and is now believed to be in the running for the Emirates gig. However, these fans on social media are not so keen on the idea.

It’s interesting to see Arsenal fans take this approach. Perhaps they’re keen not to be blinded by his legendary status at the club.
There are a lot of problems that need to be fixed at Arsenal and the prospect of bringing in a club legend may just paper over some of the cracks.
As one fan pointed out, the club need experience. They experimented a new style with Emery and clearly that backfired.
There could be some big changes to the playing squad over the next year or two and if the Gunners are without Champions League football, an experienced head to guide them through a tricky period could be very useful to have.
