Vieira is the sort of name that was always going to be linked with the Arsenal job.
The Gunners are on the hunt for a new manager at a time where Vieira is making a name for himself in European football.
However, now may not be the right time for Vieira to make such a move.
The Frenchman could benefit from either some more time in charge of Nice, who are clearly ambitious with their plans for French football or potentially move on to another stepping stone before looking closer towards the Emirates.
His Nice side are partial to conceding a few too many goals – something Arsenal themselves need to eradicate from their game – with Vieira still having plenty to learn as a manager.
A more realistic approach could be too consider the Frenchman further down the line, once he has some more experience under his belt.
