Arsenal will hope to start the post-Unai Emery era in a positive fashion when they face Norwich City at Carrow Road on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners are currently without any permanent manager, however, they have Freddie Ljungberg in as their caretaker until the right appointment is made.
For Freddie, this is an opportunity to bring smiles back into the team and the fans, and a win over Norwich would be a good starting point.
The Canaries had been in terrible form of late, but their win away at Everton last weekend proved that they cannot be taken lightly. So, Arsenal will have to be at their best in order to get the result on Sunday.
In terms of team news, Hector Bellerin could be available to start after missing the Frankfurt game, while David Luiz and Shkodran Mustafi are unavailable after getting injured during the game on Thursday.
Here’s how we think Ljungberg may line his first Arsenal XI up:
GK - Bernd Leno
He is Arsenal’s number one keeper and a certainty to keep his place in the team regardless of the managerial change.
RB - Hector Bellerin
The Spaniard had a hamstring injury this week but is now fit to start at right-back against Norwich.
CB - Rob Holding
With David Luiz unavailable, we could see Holding in central defence on Sunday.
CB - Sokratis
The Greece international hasn’t been at his best in the past month or so. But, he still remains Arsenal’s best defender at the moment. So, the new manager will have him in the team.
LB - Kieran Tierney
The summer signing will surely be Arsenal’s number one left-back from now onwards. He is certain to start on Sunday.
CM - Lucas Torreira
Former captain Granit Xhaka played on Thursday and may not be included for this game. A recall for Torreira into the starting XI seems given.
CM - Matteo Guendouzi
The youngster has been Arsenal’s best midfielder so far this season. He deserves to keep his place in the team regardless of the change in management.
RW - Nicolas Pepe
The club-record signing only played 45 minutes of football against Southampton last week and was an unused sub on Thursday. He should start under the new manager, hoping to string few good performances up during this busy period.
CAM - Mesut Ozil
He only came off the bench against Frankfurt. The former Germany international should be fresh to feature from the start on Sunday.
LW - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Arsenal’s captain and leading scorer this season might start on the left-wing, with an option to cut inside and unleash shots on goal. His link-up play with Lacazette and Ozil is important for the team.
ST - Alexandre Lacazette
The Frenchman returned to some sort of form after bagging a brace against Southampton last week. He would be aiming to continue on that against Norwich and feel good about himself.
