For Emery, it’s a case of you’re damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

The Arsenal squad were due to train on both Sunday and Monday, but dragging the players in over the weekend after such a torrid showing against Southampton would’ve done little to boost morale around the camp.

While on the flip side, it doesn’t reflect greatly on Emery to give the players two days off after the performance they put in against lowly Southampton.

The disconnect at Arsenal couldn’t look any greater at the minute and it is surely time for a change.
