Former Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has major doubts over a potential move to Arsenal this season.
According to Duncan Castles, via The Metro, Arsenal are interested in the Italian, but he is not convinced by a switch to The Emirates.
The report claims that Allegri wants to work with a team capable of challenging for the title and playing Champions League football.

If those are Allegri’s aims, you simply cannot begrudge him for not wanting to join Arsenal. The Gunners are 8th in the Premier League and currently competing in the Europa League, meaning that they meet neither of his criteria.
This means that Arsenal are going to have to try to convince him into the move, if he is one of their main targets. They could tempt him by the prospect of working in the Premier League and with the likes of Alexandre Lacazette, Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Allegri has won six Serie A titles as a manager in his career, one coming with AC Milan and the other five with Juventus. He has also reached two Champions League finals, losing both with Juventus – so you can see why he has lofty ambitions when it comes to choosing his next club.
