READ ARSENAL VERDICT
It will be very interesting to see how Tierney gets on in the wing-back role ahead of Kolasinac. The Scottish international has looked good going forward in the cup competitions this season with his crossing from the left, which could come in handy against Southampton’s defence – who recently struggled with crosses in their 9-0 loss to Leicester.
If Tierney can produce a good performance he could have the chance to nail down his position in the team and be a regular at The Emirates for the rest of the campaign.
