Arsenal will be without Dani Ceballos for this weekend’s game against Southampton.
According to Simon Collings of the London Evening Standard, the Spaniard has not been able to shake off an injury in time for the game.
Ceballos had been expected to be passed fit for the clash, however, the Gunners will have to go without his services in midfield this time around.

Ceballos is clearly still struggling with the injury that he suffered against Vitoria in the Europa League.
Interestingly, this could open up an opportunity for somebody like Granit Xhaka to come back into the side and prove a point.
It remains to be seen how Unai Emery will deal with Ceballos’ absence and how it will change his starting line up.
With Arsenal lining up in a 3-5-2 against Leicester in their last Premier League outing, Emery named Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira in the central midfield roles.
However, you would imagine that against an inferior Southampton side, he may look to add some more creativity to his team.
